Take the Poll

What's important to you as a freelancer, telecommuter or contract writer? Our survey is available at http://www.nafw.net/national_association_of_freelance_writers_010.htm.

The responses will help us determine the content for articles and online classes! Scroll to the bottom of the far right panel on the site and click Participate.

Welcome!

This blog is designed to provide a forum for freelance, telecommuting and other "remote" writers to discuss the issues and concerns that we commonly face. This blog is an extension of the the National Association of Freelance Writers community www.nafw.net, but all writers are welcome to view and contribute to this blog, whether NAFW members or not. We ask that everyone keep the posts productive, on-topic and civil.

Health insurance, setting rates, getting started and sustaining your business are just some of the issues we will discuss. Got a question about freelance or telecommute writing? Just ask. What we don't know, perhaps someone in the community will.
